Voice In A Million

11 Nov 10 Voice in a Million Banner

A choir of thousands supporting some of Britain’s most talented young singers come together to perform in a musical evening of awe-inspiring family entertainment at the Echo Arena on Thursday 11 November 2010.

Voice in a Million is a roller coaster ride of an emotional and uplifting musical journey through the story of adoption. Performed in two fifty minute parts, the first thing that hits you is the sheer enormity and clarity of the choir, showing the power of youngsters and music.

The moving narrative and introductions to each relevant song come from celebrity guests, which were either adopted themselves or have become adoptive parents. The choir and some of Britain’s most talented young singers from the age of 7 up to 18 deliver superb renditions of well known classics made famous by many of the leading stars from the world of music including; Foreigner’s powerful rock classic, ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’, Michael Jackson’s ‘I’ll Be There’, moving renditions of Dionne Warwick hits such as ‘That’s What Friends Are For’ and ‘What The World Needs Now’, the Bill Withers classic ‘Lean On Me’, the stirring gospel classic ‘Oh Happy Day’, from the Sister Act movie, Westlife’s 'You Raise Me Up', plus many more.

In support of BAAF (British Association for Adoption and Fostering).
