The Liverpool International Horse Show is back for a third year running this December with a feast of top class show jumping, family entertainment and new for 2017 – Dressage to Music.

The new Inter 1 Freestyle Dressage to Music will be the feature of the Friday evening performance 29 December. The ‘edge of the seat’ Puissance takes centre stage on the Saturday night while the Sunday evening includes the Grand Prix and a family friendly spectacular way to see in the New Year with fireworks and celebrations in the arena until 12.15am.

New Years Eve Celebrations with spectacular Indoor fireworks display until 12.15am

 

Tickets for 29-31 December give access to the show's shopping village from 9am each day and the warm up pony & young rider showjumping morning classes. These classes are on a first come first served basis in unreserved seating in the Main Arena. The shopping village features a fantastic range of products from high-end equestrian outlets, exclusive fashion retailers, unusual giftware and beautiful things for the home. If you can't wait to shop, you can purchase tickets to access the shopping village on 28 December, a day before the event starts. The 20% discount is available for 29-31 December events only.

There will be many food and drink outlets on-site, including a Champagne Bar and the Mersey View Restaurant which is open all day and suitable for all the family.

If you’re a show jumping fan and desperate to see some exhilarating four star level competition or simply wanting a fun and exciting day out, the Liverpool International Horse Show is the place to be.

From the south...

Virgin Trains operates hourly, direct services from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street (with a journey time of just over two hours). Other long-distance rail services also operate into Liverpool Lime Street station.

ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10 minute walk) or catch the CityLink Route C4 (7am – 8pm) directly to ACC Liverpool. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street station, inclusive of the cost of your ticket.

Flying into Liverpool John Lennon Airport...

A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five minute walk of ACC Liverpool.

Most Liverpool city centre bound buses will call at either Queen Square bus station (a 15-minute walk) or Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which is only a five minute walk to ACC Liverpool.

The CityLink Route C4 bus links Queen Square bus station, James Street rail station and Liverpool ONE Bus Station to ACC Liverpool. CityLink Route C4 operates every 20 minutes on Mondays to Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays, between 7am – 8pm, with a maximum fare of £1 per journey. Merseytravel prepaid tickets, National Concessionary bus passes and Arriva day tickets are all valid on this service.

For all car journeys it's best to follow the white on brown tourist route signs for the Waterfront. These signs are visible on the major routes into the city. Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is situated on the Kings Dock directly adjacent to the south side of the Albert Dock. Upon arrival, the Kings Dock entrance is clearly sign posted.

From the North...

Leave the M6 at junction 26 and follow signs for M58 Liverpool. Follow to end of M58 and then take signs for A59 Liverpool. Continue to follow Liverpool City Centre until picking up signs for the Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' signage. 

From the South...

Leave the M6 at junction 21A and take the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 follow signs for Liverpool City Centre along Edge Lane, picking up and following signs for Waterfront. The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park is signposted 'Waterfront' on the city wide 'available spaces' signage.

The Liverpool Waterfront Car Park has 1,600 secure, covered spaces, and there are more car parks within five minutes’ walk. The Waterfront Car Park is signposted “Waterfront” on the city-wide “available parking spaces” signs. These signs provide live information as to the number of available spaces. Fees operate on a sliding scale as follows:

£2 for up to 1 hour 
£5 for up to 2 hours 
£7 for up to 5 hours 
£10 for up to 9 hours 
£15 for up to 24 hours
