Accessible Entertainment

Echo Arena Liverpool has been designed with accessibility in mind, with designated drop-off points and accessible seating spaces, as well as wide corridors and doors.

Making entertainment accessible for all is important to the team at Echo Arena, which is why the venue features accessible toilets, entrances, as well as accessible drop off points and accessible seating bays.  Customers will find lifts in the car park which feature a mirror to make reversing out in a wheelchair easier, along with both visual and audible floor indicators. Parking is not free for Blue Badge holders, but there are 81 spaces accessible spaces available in the adjacent Liverpool Waterfront Car Park and there is a convenient drop-off point on the river side of the building.

Car: If you are arriving by car and require parking during the event, the Liverpool Waterfront Car Park has 81 blue badge spaces; from time to time these can get busy so we would advise you to arrive early if you require these as they are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved. Lifts operate on every floor to allow level access whichever floor you park on. Payment is required for all spaces (including blue badge holders), please click here for the latest car park tariff information.

Taxi/Drop off by car: If you are arriving in a taxi or getting dropped off then we have dedicated drop off points to make it easy for you. To find out where our drop off points are please click here for a map.

Train: We are approximately a mile away from Lime Street train station, this would usually take approximately 20 minutes to navigate at a reasonable pace (approx. 1.5 miles). The pavements are level access and there are crossings at every point so if you fancy some fresh air then this might work for you. Lime Street has 2 taxi ranks at either end of the building if this is a better option.

Echo Arena boasts over 100 accessible tickets in level access dedicated bays, with seats for friends and personal assistants, space for guide dogs and excellent views of the stage too. Our floor seating is, however, on a lower level and you will need to use steps to reach it. The Auditorium Liverpool, the intimate theatre-style venue in the BT Convention Centre also offers over 20 level-access seating bays, which can easily accommodate wheelchairs if we know in advance.

Customers with specific seating and access requirements can purchase tickets directly via Echo Arena’s in-house box office by calling the main venue ticket hotline number  - 0344 335 0437. Calls cost the same as a normal local or national landline; charges for mobile networks may vary. You can also make enquires by emailing our Customer Care team at

Our friendly team will also be able to provide advice on the best seating option for your specific access requirements, as well as providing guidance on accessible viewing areas, steps and all other accessible seating requirements.

The on-site Box Office is located at ground level on the cityside of the venue and has purpose-built low level counters. A hearing assistance system is installed on box office counters marked with the international symbol of deafness or hard of hearing, for customers with hearing difficulties.
