Our Facilities

We have a range of facilities available for visitors on site at the Echo Arena. If there's anything we haven't covered here you'll find plenty of helpful stewards when you visit the arena - if you can't find what you're looking for just ask. They'll be only too happy to help...

Access
Both the Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre are fully accessible for all visitors and comply with DDA directives. Our facilities include accessible parking spaces in the car park, a drop off point, lifts and ramps and accessible toilets on each floor; a total of eight accessible toilets located around the arena building. There are specialist seats, hearing induction loops and facilities for guide dogs. The charging of motorised scooters across the building is also available.

Toilets
The arena has plenty of bathroom facilities; six blocks of male toilets and six blocks of female (52 toilets in total), plus a further eight accessible toilets. That's a lot of toilets - to flush them, we harvest 40% of the water we use from rainwater on our roof.

Car park
There's a 1600 space car park on site, just across the main piazza from the Echo Arena. There are also plenty of other parking spaces locally - there are three large car parks around the Liverpool One area including Liverpool One (Strand Street), John Lewis (Liver Street) and Hanover Street and limited parking at the Albert Dock.

Bike racks
We have two sets of secure, covered bike racks for cyclists; you'll find them on the riverside of the building, near the staff entrance.

Catering
If you're hungry or thirsty we have eight catering concessions in the Echo Arena - six of them are on the main concourse with another two downstairs in the basement. We sell a tasty range of hot and cold snacks and drinks provided by our caterers Heathcotes Outside. Our drinks partners Carling and Britvic provide a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Recycling
Recycling bins are available throughout the Echo Arena; you'll find three different types of bin, for general waste, plastic cups and paper and cardboard. Each is clearly labelled so you know what you can put in it - please use them.
