ACC Liverpool joins Liverpool and Everton football clubs, Aintree Racecourse and over 90 other stadia across Europe who have signed up.
ACC Liverpool’s chief executive, Bob Prattey said, ‘ACC Liverpool focuses on supporting and sourcing resources from the local economy - both in terms of employees and suppliers. We have an active green dream team checking that we constantly improve our green activity - from recycling to energy use - and are hands on with our chosen local charity Liverpool Unites. This is important to us as a venue, and we have been delighted that this thinking has resulted in receiving the Healthy Stadia accreditation.’
