2 Jun 10ONE of Liverpool's most prominent venues is gearing up for a Las Vegas-style makeover.
For one week only, ACC Liverpool will bring a touch of Vegas sparkle to the region.
The waterfront venue will recreate the famous 'Vegas strip' complete with bright neon lights, casino thrills and its very own rat pack band.
The Vegas theme is being offered as part of a package for people booking their Christmas celebrations this year. It is the first time that ACC Liverpool has hosted parties over the festive period and the service will run alongside the varied conferences and events it already hosts.
Bob Prattey, Chief Executive of ACC Liverpool, said: "Our in-house team of set designers and technicians have transformed the venue into everything from football pitches to basketball courts, ice rinks to a motocross track. This Christmas we hope to bring a taste of the entertainment capital of the world to Liverpool and provide all the glitz and glamour which people associate with Las Vegas.
"It promises to be a real showstopper – everything you’d expect at a top night out."
