Elton John Press Release

As has been widely reported in the newspapers and throughout the media, Sir Elton John is being treated for E.coli bacterial infection and a severe bout of influenza, which was treated with a heavy anti-biotic to kill the infection. In order to speed his recovery, he is being looked after at the King Edward VII Hospital in London, and is receiving the best possible treatment and care.

His Managers feel that he will make a full recovery soon and resume his touring schedule, starting with Billy Joel in the USA in mid November.

As previously stated, his promoters Marshall Arts are in daily contact with Elton’s office and every effort is being made to finalise the replacement dates as soon as possible.
