This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to take on a varied and challenging role within the Procurement Team. With a focus on processing requisitions and purchase orders for various teams within The ACC Liverpool Group, the Procurement Assistant will work closely with the Procurement team and Finance team to ensure all procurement information is accurate and that internal purchasing processes have been followed in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, be able to negotiate with external suppliers and be able to follow and review relevant processes. Effective communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and have a knowledge and understanding of the Procurement function within an organisation and will be able to undertake Contract administration tasks.
The role requires experience of working to strict deadlines as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
